When one year ends, I get excited for the next. I also begin to look through my memories, files, books and clean some 'old' things out.
I decided to take the 2004 journal I kept while traveling in France and type it up. As I flipped through the pages, I came across my old Student I.D. card from the Alliance Francaise de Lyon. In France, everything requires a PhotoMat picture. Remember the movie 'Amelie'? Yep, that's what it's like: PhotoMats all over France.
